Antietam Lake Park Master plan: www.co.berks.pa.us/Dept/Planning/Pages/AntietamLakePark.aspx
Antietam Lake Park is the county’s newest parkland acquisition. At 643 acres, Antietam Lake Park doubled the acreage of the park system and expanded opportunities for enjoyment of the scenic resources of the county. It is located primarily in Lower Alsace Township with a small portion in Alsace Township, just east of the City of Reading. This Plan promotes the conservation of the natural resources and historic elements at Antietam Lake while promoting sustainable public use and introducing public accommodations to enhance visitor experiences.
