VIII. BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS REPORTS
A. Planning Hearing Board:
1) The most recent meeting of the Planning Commission was held on November 2, 2022 – an Application for Land Development & Subdivision at 1434 Friedensburg Road to 1436 Sesser Lane. No new meetings of the Planning Commission have been scheduled at this time.
B. Zoning Hearing Board:
1) The most recent meeting of the Zoning Hearing Board was held on October 26, 2022, – an Application for a Variance or Special Exception at 602 Brighton Avenue to permit an AirBnB in the R-3 Residential Zoning District. The application was approved subject to the following conditions: 1) the Special Exception would expire upon a sale of the property, and 2) the minimum length of a stay would be 30 consecutive calendar days. No new meetings of the Zoning Hearing Board have been scheduled at this time.
C. Antietam Valley Recreation Commission – no report.
IX. TREASURER’S REPORT / LIST OF BILLS
A. Motion to accept the October 31, 2022, Treasurer’s reports.
B. Motion to approve the payment of the list of bills as presented. The list includes the second payment of Fire Tax and Emergency Medical Services Tax collections to the Lower Alsace Fire Company and to the Lower Alsace Ambulance Association.

A. Discussion on potential project for use of American Rescue Plan Local Funds – to be discussed over upcoming meetings.
B. Review the current status of the use and occupancy permit application for 1383 – 1385 Friedensburg Road. No current changes.
XII. NEW BUSINESS
A. Review and discuss the preliminary Lower Alsace Township 2023 budget.
B. Authorization to advertise the 2023 Lower Alsace Township budget to be approved at the December 8th, 2022 meeting.
C. Review and discuss the Repository Bid issue for property on Byram Street – Property Identification Number 23-532717119120.
D. Review and discuss the communication from Mount Penn Borough regarding the Krafczek property at 200 North 25th Street and a request for additional funds.
E. Discuss the verbal communication which came from most recent Mount Penn Borough Council meeting regarding potential merger discussions.
F. Review, discuss, d approve the Resolution adopting Act 57 authorizing the Township Tax Collector to grant a request to waive additional charges for real estate taxes dependent on conditions listed in the Act.
