OLD BUSINESS

 

Continued discussion on potential project for use of American Rescue Plan Local Funds – timeline to be discussed. First allocation to Central Berks Police, Lower Alsace Fire Company, and Lower Alsace Ambulance was approved , reservation of funds has been set aside. The total revenue of $496,985.88 has $346,985.88 remaining for additional projects.

 

Review the status of the use and occupancy permit application for 1383 – 1385 Friedensburg Road. No current changes.

 

Discussion and review of analysis of parking issues on Taft Avenue, as well as other streets in Stony Creek, as reported by residents.

 

NEW BUSINESS

 

Update on the employment search for the position of Assistant to the Township Manager / Clerk currently staffed by Corrie Zana.

 

Discussion and approval of the special event permits for First Baptist Church Easter Dawn Service and Greater Reading Film Office.

 

Discussion and review of proposal to install additional No Parking signs along Service Court, from the first stop sign at the entrance to Service Court, through the right hand turn at 501 Friedensburg Road (facing Service Court), as a result of issues navigating this section of Service Court.

 

Discussion of resident proposal on closing Skyline Drive and all access points to vehicle traffic, including timing of closures.
